Tom Thamsopit, O.D.
Dr. Tom Thamsopit received his Bachelors of Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2011. He then went on to be a graduate at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry in 2015 where he was honored to be a part of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and ranked in the top ten percent of his class. Dr. Thamsopit has been featured on Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges as well as being a recipient of scholarships for academic excellence, service to the community and being a leader among the profession.
Dr. Thamsopit is licensed by the California Board of Optometry and is certified to treat and manage ocular conditions with therapeutic pharmaceutical agents including glaucoma. He has conducted research on Macular Pigment Optical Density and has been published in the American Academy of Optometry.
On his spare time, Dr. Thamsopit likes to watch all types of sporting events and enjoys traveling and exploring diverse cuisines from around the world. He also contributes to the community by volunteering at the Special Olympics and Lions Club.
